Details

Unique in every way, the 'Venus' features our hand-forged mokume gane fittings over braided leather. Mokume gane (translated as wood grain metal) originated in Japan as a decorative forging technique to create accents for the hilts of fine Samurai swords. Paying our respect to that tradition of excellence, our modern mokume is forged and twisted from 89 layers of copper, nickel silver, and brass. The pattern is gorgeous and never repeats.
Bead and bolt action clasp are in mokume and clasp is inlaid with a citrine gemstone.
