The Monarch 'Washington' features a beautiful frame in hand-carved sterling silver by Lee Downey, inlaid with lapis lazuli. The blade is heat-blued 'Flag' damascus by Chad Nichols. The one-hand button lock and the thumb stud are set with sapphires.
